What we collect, why, who receives it and your rights.
Emplois Compétences, a recruitment firm in Sherbrooke, protects the personal information you entrust to it, in line with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

What we collect and why
We collect only the information you send us yourself in a form. Visiting the site sends us none.
- Job application or resume submission: your first name, last name, email, phone and resume (with whatever you choose to put in it). We use them to assess your application and suggest positions that match your profile.
- Contact or service request: your first and last name, email, phone, business (optional) and your message. We use them to answer your request.
Who receives your information
Your information is handled by the Emplois Compétences recruitment team. We send your resume to an employer only with your consent, given by ticking the box on the application form, and only for the position or types of positions concerned. The employer that receives your application uses it for its hiring decision. We do not sell or rent your information, and we share it with no other third party without your consent, unless the law requires it.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses no analytics, no tracking cookies and no advertising pixels. Fonts and images are served by the site itself. YouTube videos load only if you click to play them, in privacy-enhanced mode; only their preview image, supplied by YouTube, shows at first and it sets no cookie.
Retention
We keep your application as long as needed to suggest positions to you, then destroy it securely. You may ask at any time for it to be removed.
Your rights
You may ask for access to the information we hold about you, its correction, the withdrawal of your consent (for example, that your resume no longer be sent) or a copy of the computerized information you gave us. We answer within 30 days. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. Forms send your information encrypted.
